Season
Open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, Hopewell Quarry invites you to experience its wonders as a public recreational haven, offering both seasonal and day passes for your convenience.
The Property
Explore our three-acre park setting, complete with shaded picnic tables and grills, nestled under the canopy of lush trees. Engage in friendly competition at our sand volleyball court or partake in a variety of lawn games scattered throughout the area. Volleyballs, footballs, and Frisbees for use on-site!
Food and Beverage
Refuel and refresh with snacks, drinks, and ice cream available for purchase onsite. Alternatively, tantalize your taste buds with offerings from weekend food trucks (be sure to check our calendar on the homepage for details).
No alcohol, no exceptions! If found with alcohol, you risk being banned from the Quarry!
The Quarry
Dive into our natural spring-fed 1-acre lake, reaching depths of 30 feet, for a refreshing escape like no other. The Hopewell Quarry provides endless opportunities for recreation and relaxation, including:
-Dozens of inner tubes for leisurely floating
-Swim out to three large floats anchored in the lake and make a splash from our three diving boards, ranging from 2 to 12 ft in height
- Enjoy our expansive pool area, gently sloping from 1.5 to 4 feet deep, catering to non-swimmers and experienced alike
Lifeguards?
Rest assured that we put safety first with our team of Red Cross Certified lifeguards stationed at both the pool and quarry, ensuring your well-being at all times.
